Fernando Torres to go to Chelsea.
I’m sure you’ve all heard by now. This post is late because I’ve been at school.
I’m crushed. I never thought the day would come that I would see him leave Liverpool.
Will I watch Chelsea games because he’s there?
No. Never. I have never, and will never, support Chelsea. I’ll be just fine supporting Fernando from afar, thank you very much.
I don’t like his decision, but I will respect it. I saw the pictures of Liverpool “fans” burning Fernando’s jersey. That is so disgustingly disrespectful. You are not only burning Fernando’s jersey, you are burning our family crest. You don’t want his jersey anymore? Fine, don’t wear it. Give it to someone else. You accomplish absolutely nothing by burning it, except showing everyone how disrespectful you are.
And to the fangirls who are jumping ship and becoming Chelsea “fans,” kindly go live under a rock. If you can no longer support Liverpool without Torres, you were never a true Red.
The team existed before Fernando, and it will continue to exist after him. The important thing here is that if the transfer makes him happy, we as his fans need to come to terms with it as well.
So, be as upset as you want, for as long as you want. But please keep things respectful.
On the brighter side, welcome to the family, Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
